A Consomme Froid a pork belly heb Tomate is what was making all that noise. Now you ask how can that make any noise. It can when there is dry ice in there and you are told to wait for it to melt and it stops screaming at you and make sure not to drink the ice because it's not good for you!

This happens to be my go-to place for ramen. There are many other restaurants in Little Tokyo that make very good ramen, and some are stand out quality, but the Diakokuya ramen holds a special place in my heart, or stomach as the case may be. And when I'm not in the mood for ramen, I'll order a bento box combination, and I'll leave just as happy. I'm grateful to my friend who introduced me to this restaurant. Since then, I've been back many times, and I've, in turn, introduced Diakokuya to others. You will, too.
